Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in India hosted members of the association of spouses of heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country (SHOM)

On November 4, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in India hosted members of the association of spouses of heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country (SHOM). The event was attended by the wives of ambassadors from several countries.

In her welcoming remarks, Mrs. Lusine Ter-Hovhannisyan, spouse of the Ambassador of Armenia, expressed gratitude for the participation in the event, which was the first of its kind organiսed at the Armenian Embassy as part of the regular SHOM gatherings. She spoke about the history of the establishment of the Armenian Embassy, located on Armenia Street in New Delhi, and highlighted its architectural features.

During the event, engaging presentations were made about Armenia’s history, culture, tourist attractions, art, famous personalities, education, cuisine, as well as Armenian-Indian connections.

The reception also featured dishes prepared by the spouses of the Embassy’s diplomats.
